Absolutely Adorable Pyjamas

I found these tonight while looking at online baby boutiques. I think I might have to order a couple for the little one. Best of all, they are made of bamboo! I just love these! Who can resist a cute little baby in a footie and mitten pyjama?? I sure can't!

26 Weeks...A Few Days Late

* How far along?: 26 weeks
* Total weight gain: No idea
* How big is baby?: 13 inches and 1 2/3 lb!!
* Sex: Baby Brianna
* Maternity clothes?: Of course
* Stretch marks?: Nothing so far
* Sleep?: Not great but I think I am getting used to it
* Best moment this week? This definitely isn't the best moment but a moment that stands out in my mind. I was helping a customer at my desk and turned away to sneeze. Well let's just say not only did I let a little sneeze out, I peed a little too, so not cool. I guess I have lost control of my bladder :(
* Movement?: TONS! This little one likes to stretch out and kick! Yesterday I was sitting at my desk and for most of the day I had a pain in my side from her constant hard kicking. I can't believe how strong she is getting already!
* Food cravings?: Nothing really this week
* Labor signs?: None
* Belly button in or out?: Continuing to get stretched out and more shallow
* What I miss: Walking up the stairs at work and not being short of breath and feeling like I ran a marathon haha. I feel like the most out of shape person ever
* What I'm looking forward to: Packing this week and moving next weekend!! I will be at work so I won't actually need to move anything, yay!
* Words of Wisdom: Get the sleep in now, while it is still somewhat possible

Nursery Furniture

After weeks and weeks of trying to decide on what sort of furniture we like, we have decided that we are going to go with the Munire "Majestic" line. We know we like the flat-top lifetime crib (it converts to a full bed when baby is older) but are unsure about whether to get the combo or the extra-wide dresser. One thing is for sure, it will be in the espresso colour. I love this line so much, it will go great with our choice of baby bedding. :)

Here's a picture of the furniture we are looking at ordering.

25 Weeks and I turned 25!!

* How far along?: 25 weeks and I celebrated my birthday Tuesday
* Total weight gain: Don't own a scale so I won't know until my next doctor's appointment at the end of the month
* How big is baby?: 13 1/2 in and 1 1/2 lbs. She's really growing!!
* Sex: Baby Brianna
* Maternity clothes?: Of course
* Stretch marks?: Still nothing although I am starting to get a really itchy tummy... Hoping it is just the dry winter weather
* Sleep?: Getting up to pee every night and now I am having lots of hip pain so I toss and turn all night long, great
* Best moment this week? Turning 25 and finding a new home. I am beyond excited to be moving at the end of the month!!! And no heavy lifting for me :)
* Movement?: Lots and lots. Especially at night when I am reading or trying to sleep...pretty much whenever I am laying on my back
* Food cravings?: Lemons, veggies, milk (weird since I have hated milk since I was about 5)
* Labor signs?: None
* Belly button in or out?: Continuing to get stretched out and more shallow
* What I miss: My family
* What I'm looking forward to: Starting to pack and beginning to order baby items
* Words of Wisdom: When you think things aren't moving along the way you want them to, give it a day, things always get better!

***Picture to be posted later, I was in a rush this morning and didn't have time to get one done***

We're moving!!

I am so excited! We are moving at the end of the month to a 3 bedroom house. We are currently in a one bedroom apartment that is too small for the 2 of us and our 2 cats, let alone a baby and all the things she will need. We have hardly any storage space either so this is just awesome. The new place has so many closets, I can't even remember how many! Brianna will have her very own room that we can decorate and fill.

We are still undecided on what crib we want to go with. I have shown hubbs a couple of different styles I happen to like and he seems to be happy with the Munire Newport Lifetime crib. Now we just need to find somewhere we can order from...we will most probably order out of Toronto and my dad will ship it to me when it comes in. I also really like their double dresser which can be used as a change table as well. I don't really want all that many pieces of furniture in the baby room, would much rather buy items that have more than one use. Hubbs also found a really cute rocking chair online that will be perfect for those late night feedings.

I am just so happy to see that we are making decisions about the nursery and things are finally moving along.

A Slight Scare... & Some Good News

Earlier this week I had to go into the doctor when I freaked myself out after reading some things on google. I had been having unusual "sensations" down bellow and thought that I was contracting and my cervix was opening up. Turns out all is fine and it is just the normal stretching and nothing to worry about. The doctor told me to step away from Google and just come in next time instead of scaring myself. In the 12 hours or so I had to over think everything and look it up online, I had gone from nervous to completely freaked out....not good at all.

I did get to hear the beautiful heartbeat again though, she's measuring and 150 bpm and he said I am measuring right on track! Makes me so happy that all is well with my little Brianna and I am still amazed at how fast time is going by, just a little over 100 days now! :) My doctor also decided it was time for me to get my GD testing done so off I went to the lab to drink that wonderful orange drink, sit and wait for an hour ( unprepared by the way, it was soooo boring with nothing to read and sans cell phone :( ) and then have my blood drawn. They told me results would be in within 24 hours and since I haven't heard anything back I am guessing no news is good news!

On the nursery front, we have started to narrow down our list of possible furniture and also registered on BRU for his side of the family. I found it so weird going and selecting items that we would like for people to buy for us. I know it makes it easy on family and friends, but still feels a little strange asking for specific things.
