32 Weeks

* How far along?: 32 weeks, 8 weeks to go!
* Total weight gain: Still Don't know and don't want to know
* How big is baby?: 17 inches and 4 lbs...Brianna is getting B-I-G!!!
* Sex: Baby Brianna
* Maternity clothes?: Well obviously
* Stretch marks?: No change thank goodness
* Sleep?: My hip pain has gotten so much worse, I need to roll over to my other side every hour or so just so I am not in pain. Also, I get up to pee every hour or so now, even if I don't drink a glass of water before bed even though I am dying of thirst 99% of the day
* Best moment this week? My dad and his girlfriend offered to buy our baby bedding and we decided to get something different. We are now getting the Glenna Jean Zoe bedding :)

* Movement?: Lots and lots of movement, she's running out of room quickly
* Food cravings?: Water! I am thirsty ALL THE TIME
* Labor signs?: No No No!
* Belly button in or out?: Just when I thought it couldn't get any less shallower, it has and looks ridiculous now
* What I miss: So many different things, the list is about a mile long right now
* What I'm looking forward to: Ordering the stroller and still waiting on those bows I ordered, I really want to see them
* Words of Wisdom: Take it easy! I might have overdone it over the weekend and am truly feeling it this week

Stroller Debate

Finding the perfect stroller is alot harder than I thought it would be. Clint and I can't seem to agree on one no matter how many we end up looking at. I have narrowed down our search to two possibilities which helps a bit.

I will be the one home with baby for the first year at least so I need to find one that I will be comfortable using with as many features as possible. It's between the Bumbleride Indie and the Uppababy Vista. Both are light weight frames, both have great reviews, both have the pram feature (the Vista comes standard with this, whereas you need to purchase it separately for the Indie). I really think with Brianna arriving in the spring, and we will be taking daily walks, the pram feature will be great for us for the first few months. I see buying a stroller as an investment, I really don't want to have to buy several over time due to poor construction.

So here are the two we are considering.

Do any of you have these strollers?? We are planning on buying one of these as our "main" stroller and have already purchased the MacLaren Techno XT stroller for our "umbrella" stroller for when we travel anywhere.

I'm hoping we cover all our bases with these two purchases. Now, to decide which full size stroller will be best for us and our little girl.

Hobbit Feet - Minus the Hair

My body has gotten to the point where by the time I get home from work at night, my feet have swollen to double their size. My poor toes look like little sausages while my foot looks like that of a Hobbit's. I never thought that would happen to me as I drink about a gallon of water a day...doesn't matter, I still swell.

Clint laughed so hard the other night when I showed him just how bad it really was. I even have the dreaded cankles, so not attractive! I guess this is just one other thing that I will have to get used to for the time being. Hopefully, it disappears after Brianna arrives.

All my lovely heels will need to be put away for the time being, and flats shall become my new best friends for the remainder of this pregnancy. I guess I will have to shop for some real cute ones, I currently only own 1 pair that are "dressy" enough for work. Sigh!

31 Weeks!

* How far along?: 31 weeks, 9 weeks to go!
* Total weight gain: Don't know and don't want to know
* How big is baby?: 16 inches and 3 1/2 lbs
* Sex: Baby Brianna
* Maternity clothes?: Need to buy some new stuff, my belly is starting to show a bit here and there
* Stretch marks?: No change thank goodness
* Sleep?: I toss and turn all night from my hip pain, can't get to sleep or stay asleep long enough to feel rested
* Best moment this week? Bought some cute baby books for her bookshelf, can't wait to buy more
* Movement?: Lots of moving around, sometimes it is downright uncomfortable, but I wouldn't change it for anything
* Food cravings?: Water! I am thirsty ALL THE TIME
* Labor signs?: No No No!
* Belly button in or out?: Shallow innie. I don't think it will ever pop out completely
* What I miss: Energy, non-maternity clothes, not being hungry and thirsty all the time, needing to pee every 3o minutes...the list could go on and on and on
* What I'm looking forward to: Ordering the pack n play, bouncy seat, monitor, play mat and bath tub... also possibly getting in the bows and clips I ordered online
* Words of Wisdom: Take naps when you can if you can't sleep at night, they at least help a bit

Not sure if I will continue these. I seem to have the same to report week after week. I think I am boring myself with these!

Wonderful Valentine's Day

My sweet hubbs bought me flowers that were delivered to me at work Sunday. I was so surprised, he doesn't usually like to buy me flowers because he thinks they are a waste of money since they die so quickly. I was so happy, they even came with a little teddy bear that plays music! I love my hubbs! Hope you all had a wonderful V Day as well.

Don't you love the Chinese New Year decorations?? I love all the red.

I Killed The Dishwasher

No, not really, but I put the wrong detergent in while busy talking on the phone with my mom and ended up walking into a world of bubbles 5 minutes later. Seriously, I have no idea where my brain has gone! I immediately turned off the dishwasher, called Clinton at work begging him to come home and fix my mess while on my knees soaking up the bubbles with our biggest bath towels. He had quite the laugh, along with his co-workers. I'm such an idiot!

29 Weeks

* How far along?: 29 weeks, 11 to go!
* Total weight gain: Not happy about it, I seem to have gained a little more than I was expecting for this point in the pregnancy
* How big is baby?: 15 inches and 3 lbs
* Sex: Baby Brianna
* Maternity clothes?: Yes, but my shirts seem to be getting shorter and I fear that soon my belly will be hanging out from them
* Stretch marks?: Same as before, they aren't growing or anything, yet
* Sleep?: Not the greatest, if I do sleep I don't wake up feeling rested the next morning
* Best moment this week? Getting the bassinet set up, it feels even more real now!
* Movement?: Less kicks and more just moving around
* Food cravings?: Back to the lemons
* Labor signs?: Nope, not ready for that yet!
* Belly button in or out?: I don't think it's getting any shallower anymore, it seems to have stopped changing for now
* What I miss: Having energy to do things past 7 o'clock
* What I'm looking forward to: Ordering the nursery decorations this week!
* Words of Wisdom: Please do not tell a woman who still has 2 and a half months to go that she looks like she is going to pop any day now. I don't care how big I look to you, it's rude! My doctor said I am where I need to be, so don't go on telling me these things and making me feel bad, thank you very much!

*Will post a picture tomorrow morning*

Nursery Decorations!

I have been searching Etsy for hours and hours on end almost everyday and have come across some super cute decorations for the nursery. I think they will go great with the bedding (Serena and Lily "Kate") as well as the furniture, which still needs to be ordered by the way:(.

Here are a few of my finds that I am so excited to order!

Super cute butterfly mobile. Not sure if this would hang over the crib or change table yet, but either way, I am loving it!

Wall butterflies that go with the mobile. These could go anywhere in the room and look great.

I think this is a great idea. I have seen a few versions of these and this one is my favorite. I think it's important to have personal family touches in the baby's room, especially seeing as we are halfway across the country from them all.

And this quilt, it is the nicest baby quilt I have seen. The colors match perfectly to the bedding and I can just see my daughter keeping this with her for years and years just like I have with my baby quilt.

There are so many more things that I would like to get for Brianna's room, but for now, these will do. Here is a picture of the nursery, empty I know, but will soon be filled with all sorts of things!

The room is painted a light green/grey, very neutral. We will be changing the curtains to something better than the brown, but for now, it works for the empty room.
